The Metal Queen Excluder is made of stainless steel for exceptional, long lasting quality.

Place between Honey and Brood chamber to prevent queen from laying eggs in honey. Also will allow you to find the queen easily on hive inspections.

Do not add until brood is established.
10 frame style.

Queen excluder is used to keep the queen confined to the lower deep hive brood boxes and out of the upper honey supers. The stainless steel mesh screen is small enough to prevent the queen from fitting through, but large enough to allow the worker bees to gain access to the honey supers. Place between the top deep box and the first medium honey box. Use one per hive.
