24-in Electric Hedge Trimmer is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 73.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Yes! This is A Great Hedge Trimmer! I purchased this to replace another electric hedge trimmer I had for 10 years. The greatest feature is the 24 inch blade - it makes it super easy to cut across the top of the hedge and reach high spots. The rotating head (you can rotate the blade into several different positions while keeping your hand in a normal position) is an added bonus. The trigger locking mechanism is fantastic for keeping the hedge trimmer operating without constant depression of the trigger. Also, it easily cuts through large (1/2 inch to 3/4 inch) limbs as advertised. I am so glad I purchased this instead of one of the $30 to $45 dollar trimmers - you'll love this one!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from After purchasing this product I proceeded to trim an average size yard that was at least a couple seasons overgrown. I finished the whole job in a few hours. The trimmer worked great on all different types of bushes, and cut everything up to about the 3/4 inch limit that the manufacturer claims. Using this reiterated a lesson I've learned many times - when you have the right tool for the job, the work is a lot easier. I liked the rotating motor feature in the store, but honestly, while I was trimming my yard I never rotated the motor; it was easy enough to use at any angle without rotating the motor. I especially appreciated the longer blade on this model.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good purchase Just purchased for home use. Turned my 16 yr. old grandson loose with it to trim all the bushes and hedges in the yard. My old B&D trimmer was so old and the blades were very dull, so a new one was in order. He was impressed with how easily it cut the bushes, and he could shape them the way we wanted. He said it was lighter than the last one, although this one is larger. I would definately say this is a good product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Trimmer Bought this cause my battery powered one keeps overheating. This tool was so easy to use. I love the swivel part. It makes reaching all the branches easy. I can stay in one position and just swivel the unit. It also is very easy to hold. It is the perfect weight. Another feature it offers is once you hit the button to turn it on it can stay on until you re-click it and shutting it off. It works just as described on branches of 3/4 inch thick. The 24-inch blade makes it easy to reach hard to reach areas. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best hedge trimmer I've used Good cutting blade and power. Relatively light weight with low vibration. Exceeded my expectations. Cut back overgrown hedges in half the time I expected, and now cleans up little stuff easily. Best hedge trimmer I have owned or used.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Power and Convenience For a woman who enjoys being outside, the convenience of using equipment to maintain a yard is crucial. The issue with many electric tools is lack of power. This corded hedge trimmer is not lacking. Lots of power and the 24” length is an additional plus. Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pretty decent; not exceptional. I bought this model trimmer about a year ago; mainly because I needed the 3/4" thick cutting feature. I could tell when I bought it that it probably would only last about a year -- because I was going to use it for what I'd call 'severe duty". So, after a year of severe duty, the motor has finally started to go out... the blades are moving slowly and they can be stalled out easily. But -- I reminded myself that I only paid about $75 for it; and not $300 -- like the industrial grade ones cost. All in all, I'm headed right back to Lowes to get another one of the same model! Remember, you get what you pay for; and if I hadn't put this trimmer through the work that I did, I'm sure it would last a pretty long time! My only 'con' to this model is that the trigger lock is cumbersome, and can be knocked off easily. I still think it's a pretty good deal for the price!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from BLACK+DECKER 3.3-Amp 24-in Corded Electric Hedge I love this trimmer. It is long enough to reach across my bushes, and is quiet and powerful. Easy to adjust for cutting horizontally or vertically. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
