3" Silver Steel Knotted Wire Cup Brush is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 21.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for paint removal from cement Wear a respirator, earplugs, gloves, safety glasses and a full grinding shield. Also, physically isolate the area by taping plastic up around your working area. Purchase a 20" box fan (Lasko) and a couple 20"x20" furnace filters. Tape the filter to the inlet side of the fan and use this to clear the air in your working area. It's a secret trick and works a charm. I also recommend stepping up to the stainless steel version if you have a lot of area to cover. This Cup Brush did a great job on surfaces and into cracks. SERIOUSLY, wear the safety equipment and please watch for lead paint. Don't expose your kids to lead paint dust or they will suffer brain damage. Same warning goes for you. Assume the paint is lead and get the respirator to protect yourself. How often do you get to really wear one? They look cool and it tells everyone you are a smart craftsman.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does the job This brush does the job of basically sanding down masonry. It creates a lot of dust, as any sanding or scrapping might, but it does do the trick. Don't expect it to grind down masonry very fast. It takes a fair bit of time, as it should because concrete is meant to last.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It removed flaking paint off my shed wall (24"X8") very well. The biggest plus was that it lost NONE of the twisted wires during the operation. Which is the general problem with twisted wire power brushs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Gold Brush... ...even tho you can't use this in California. I got this to clean up some concrete edges in a damaged floor of a warehouse. It stirred up so much dust that I wished I would have bot some masks instead of holding my breath. The job would have gone faster. The brush was almost like new after I had finished. I doubt my lungs were.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 3-in Knotted Cup Brush This Item works very well, I've used many different Brands of Cup Brushes and this one works great, the price is also good. But like all the others use your saftey shield, Gloves and Saftey Glasses when working with it. This Item is only as good as the user. I use these in my work, and I use about 3 or 4 a month, so far the Dewalt is out proformimg B.& D., and the others in proformance 2 to one, and price is about 1/3nd. the cost. I would tell a friend to us it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Saves a ton of time on paint removal I was using chemical stripper and a regular wire brush on the end of a drill. It took 8 hours just to get the hood of my van down to the metal. Switched to this with an angle grinder (corded works best) and I finished the rest of the whole van in 32 hours. I figure, given the area that I cleaned, I cut my time in half.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from DEWALT 3-in knotted The sum and substance is this in a nutshell: buy the part that was made for the tool. You can attachments made by other manufacturers that say the attachments are reciprocal, but it never fits quite right. Buy the attachment from the brand of the tool that you're purchasing it for.
