5-Tool Kit - Lithium-Ion 20V Max is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 88.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not a good value for construction. The impact drill and hammer drill are the only products that seem to have held up and even the hammer drill casing looks like its coming apart. I am on my second 20V drill set because the recip saw apparently has plastic gears and broke on the inside. I thought it was a fluke so I swapped the kit only the find the same problem. I'm an electrician so I was using the saw to cut 3/4 EMT. The first kit broke before the battery needed charge and the second one broke on the first cut. Both with a brand new blade. Very disappointed with the quality. I also own the 18V kit and have had it for close to 10 years with zero problems. Stay away from the 20V products. Garbage

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have no regrets This was a great investment, I'm in the property maintenance and construction field. These tools are worked hard on a daily routine, dropped and beat on and they keep going strong. AND LETS NOT FORGET BATTERY LIFE, awesome I can run half to three quarters of the day before changing the battery. Of coarse I was looking to spend about a hundred dollars less than what I did but they only had this one available at the store so I took the chance and glad I did the extra hundred bucks was worth it. Waiting on pay day to add to this Awesome Bad Butt 20 Volt Dewalt cordless set. I appreciate a great product that lives up to its name.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great experience! The 5-Tool 20-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless Combo Kit was a purchase I made carefully to replace other products that were frustrating to work with. At $579 its not the cheapest but if you're someone like me and really don't want to waist money again on cheaper products then this is the buy. The quick charge and battery life are amazing, I have been working on a heavy project four days now and haven't needed to recharge which is just mind blowing. If you're still skeptical it comes with a return policy and great warranties so do what I did... I open the box charged and started power using the heck out of it in case I was unhappy with it I would return it but it wore me out four days in a row about 15 hours total and still haven't charged the battery's again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Mixed Feelings I am an electrician and use my tools quite often, so I require them to be able to handle the punishment that they will be put through on a daily basis. The hammer drill and and impact driver are both excellent quality and both have a tremendous amount of power. I was howerever disappointed in the saws. The set comes with a cheaper version of the sawzall that does not have a metal housing, the 4way blade mount or adjustable shoe. The circular saw that is included in the set has a cheaper steel shoe instead of a more durable and lighter magnesium one that is included on the unit that is sold individually. The flashlight is nice and bright however the switch is a little sensitive. If you barerly touch the trigger the light cuts out. This not a problem if you have the light sitting in fixed position, but is a bit of a problem if you are doing something such as walking through an attic. When I buy high quality tools I expect ALL of them to be just that. Dewalt should rethink their marketing strategies of cutting corners to hit price points.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dewalt went over the line with the 20V set Great combo kit, the hammer drill is super fast, the drill is way to fast for me, the saw cuts great and it is very strong, sawzall rocuks and my favorite was the light, I believe is a xenon light and its just crazy, my kids wanted to play with the light all day, the design of these tools make you feel like a pro, the fit on your hands so comfortable to do the job and they have like rubber all around them for protection, It was worthed to spend over $500, I dont regret it, the only thing I dont like is the bag but that fine and make sure you buy sawzall blades because they are not included, Dewalt should had thrown some blades and a drill bit at least but overall I recommend this set.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Set! Dewalt never ceases to impress! I have had a couple of the 18 volt Dewalt Hammer drills with the XRP packs in the past that I used commercially every day to drill in every type of material and drilling hundreds of holes and driving hundreds of screws as a CATV installer and the only problem I ever encountered is I had a battery pack fail on my second one and it caused the drill to start to smoke and not turn off. Turned out the trigger switched could be replaced for under $40.00 and it went on running for many more years. None of them ever fully quit working I just traded them away when I would buy a new one. I have dropped them from 20+ feet up and worked with them while pouring rain and even dropped them in a water puddle and shaken it out and kept on drilling. This 20 volt set seems to be built just as good if not better and I am looking forward to putting it through it's paces. I can't speak much for the new batteries as of right now but after drilling a couple of hole for anchors in brick it seems to run faster with less drag. So far so great! Dewalt has yet to let me down and keeps impressing!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top Quality - But Missing Some Features I received a set similar to this about 5 years ago. The old set came with a nice, heavy duty case which all tools fit nicely into without issue or concern of possible damage. The old set also included simple things like a two headed screw driver bit with a slot to hold a second bit on the drill and two saw blades (1 metal, 1 wood) for the reciprocating saw. None of these features are included with the new set and cost is slightly higher. I prefer old flash light to the new as it was better suited for odd angles. Unfortunately, my old set was stolen and I had to purchase the new set. I went with Dewalt because of the quality and long lasting durability.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome set of tools! This is my first Dewalt purchase and won't be my last. I figured that if I am going to spend money on cordless power tools, I might as well buy the best. Went to a few stores and tested their floor models but nothing came close to the quality of Dewalt. I was actually going to purchase the 4-piece set minus the impact driver but I am glad I got the 5-piece. Integrated LEDs into the tools and not batteries has got to be one of the best ideas. I have yet to charge the battery since getting it, they still had charge and plenty of power even though it probably sat around for some time before my purchase. The saw seems to be under powered but it might be due to the battery not being fully charged. But overall, I am 100% satisfied with the purchase.
