Rated 1 out of 5 by from housing is too weak! its a great design, but too bad it broke the first time i used it! its the housing made of cheap cast aluminum. it should be made of steel. i think arrow need to take these off the market till they get it right. would have been great had it not broke. i would rather pay more for it if A. it was made in the usa B made out of steel!! do not buy this product! i think the cheaper one will last longer than this one!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Steel construction? A piece of wood is stronger! I bought this riveter some time ago 'cos it looked good and I thought the rotating head was a good idea. When my father in law backed his car into my garage door I thought I had the ideal tool to replace the damaged rivets. How wrong can you be!! Having straightened out the door I began reassembly. On the first rivet the head split longitudinally in three places leaving the rivet totally unscathed. The casting quality is good but the metal used isn't. If a replacement head is available, I will replace it and keep the thing for light work - I still like the rotating head.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Tool worked great for a few tight places on my snowmobile for 5 rivets then the gripper inside the head striped and stopped popping rivets. Guess I will go buy the craftsman brand of this rivet gun.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth buying Used it on four rivets and the gripper quit working. Pulled it apart and cleaned the dies and it worked for two more before the head cracked. Wish they would have made it out of better metals.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rivet Tool I used this tool to repair athletic lockers. After using it on about 20 rivets the inside of the tool stripped and quit grabbing the rivet. I thought that I was buying a quality tool because it was the most expensive rivet tool in the store.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't bother buying this one! Looks like a well built unit, but the head cracked in two on the third rivet!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product for which it is designed. Long handles make the leverage easy to use. Good gripping of the rivet inserts, easy to pull, good release. Had to purchase a new one since my old one stopped "gripping" the rivets. Only time will tell how long this one will last. Not something you usually use every day so it should last a very long time, as my last one did. This one is a little longer so leverage and ease of clamping, or pulling, is good, making for a better tool. Can't give it an excellent rating as I have no way of knowing how long it is going to last, and that figures into the rating of a product. Other than that I rate it as a very good tool that is easy to use.
