Rated 5 out of 5 by from Multi Speed Power! I got this tool to make my life a bit simpler, and has it ever! I have had battery powered impacts in the past and they just did not have the power to be useful to me. I am always fixing something that having an impact would make the task so much easier and faster. This tool has a fantastic range of speeds and torque ranges. It is a plus the tool came with 2 batteries. Having two batteries has always been a plus. When one runs down in the middle of a task, you can switch them out and keep on working while the depleted one is being recharged. If you have been considering getting an impact, you can't go wrong with this one! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredible power output To start off it is not for construction workers, I would not expect this to last in a harsh environment where it falls or is put in a tool box in back of a pickup jumping around etc. That being said this is incredibly powerful and handy tool for home use. Battery charge is under 1hr dead to full. It can easily drive in large screws/bolts 1-4+ inches in length into wood no issues there. The speed it can drive 4 inch into a wood post is going to vary by wood type. I tested on standard new wood fence post pressure treated it was like 2 seconds once you get everything settled. I did not use a pilot hole. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from For the guy with the 2 star rating First of all u have no idea what your talking about. Drills hardly ever come with bits unless your buying black and decker or some harry homey type. Second impact isint hammering impacting is impacting and hammerdrilling is hammerdrilling. These drills are specifically for running screws in and out. You can use them for many other things like running lags....ect its not a hammer drill. My opinion on this impact is comparable to porter cable nice tool if you have other craftsman tools. But buy what u like. The three speed option is nice for the smaller screws and the variable triger seems sensitive enough to run in smaller machine screws u shouldint run in with these impacts but everyone does it anyways so for that feature bnb i give it an A+ [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Yes, we have a winner here! I did a short term test by compareing the Craftsman V20 brushless to an older Dewalt XR20 brushless. Both are fine impact drivers. They look and feel similar except one is red and one is yellow. Both have similar, but not identical specifications. The Dewalt XR20 I used in my comparison testing is an older one that does not have the 3 speed gear box. The batteries have a long working time and recharge quickly. The Craftsman held it's own during every test I threw at it. It would be nice if they threw in some bits with the driver, but I guess you can't have everything. A hard case would also be nice, but the soft case is OK. I found the Craftsman V20 to be an excellent driver and cheaper than the Dewalt XR20. I would recommend the V20 to anyone who needs an excellent impact driver. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressive Tool This impact wrench is an impressive tool, not too heavy and not to light but quite powerful. It is variable speed and has three max torque/speed settings along with work area lighting that stays on a short time with trigger pull and release. It is just the right size and weight to make it easy to use. The two batteries are a plus preventing down time while charging. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product I like the smallness of it. It is easy to get into smaller spaces to lighten down nuts and bolts. One of the best features it has are the 3 modes: 3 different speeds and the torque wrench part of it goes from 45 foot pounds to 147 foot pounds. Fantastic for such a small unit. Even if it is small, it is firm, you can get a good grip. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Really Well I was torn between buying this unit and the equivalent DeWalt. I ended up buying this unit when I caught it on sale. I have been very impressed so far. I never realized how handy one of these small impacts could be. I would recommend this unit to anyone, and it's made in the USA. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
