Rated 5 out of 5 by from great saw for the price! I cut lots of firewood for my place, and fence posts on the ranch and also do road mantainig cutting a variety of trees and brushes, anyway these saw starts on very fast 2 or 3 pulls when cold then after working and warming up starts at first pull despite the weather hot or cold. over all it works great, easy to use and goooood price, i was gonna buy a hsky because my ol saw passed away but they where sold out at eagle pass tx lowes so this yellow saw came to the rescue and its getting the job done in a great way i ve used chainsaws for about 20 years and im not afraid to say this one is the best. It comes fully assambled it has a carrying case with chain oil and 2 cycle storage places all for 219 bucks!.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 2 dead ones in a row! Bought the first one Monday and used it about 30 minutes, with no problems. Tuesday, once it was hot it would not restart no matter what I did. Took it back this morning ( Wednesday ) and picked up second one. It ran find for about the same time, then developed the same problem. On the second one, I noticed the primer bulb is no longer drawing gas from the tank to send to the carb. Don't know if the first one did this. Called Husqvarna and they had no suggestions, but at least they sounded intelligent. Calling Poulan on Tuesday was a joke. I guess the folks on here who like this saw just got lucky. I'm not dumb enough to try a third one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great saw for the price. I work at a national park and we lost several large oak trees from Irene. The park has 3 pro model saws 22"-24"only 1-2 years old. Could not get them to start, none of the bigger saws have purge/primer bulbs, and my shoulder and back does not allow me to pull on a saw 15-20 times to start. Purchased the 20" Poulan because I have a 15 year old 16" Poulan that has served me well. I cut up close to 10 cords of wood already. The saw has started every time just by following the starting directions. Only complaint is fuel and oil tanks are too small. I don't know that I could make a living off this saw but it starts and does the job so what good is it to have a Stihl if you can't get it to start when you need it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wore out quickly I bought one of these in the Fall of 2011. I used it to cut up three fairly large hardwoods that had fallen in my yard. It worked quite well initially, and I bought an extra chain for it. I figured if I took care of it, I should be able to keep it handy for occasional home owner use. I then took it out to help a friend with a tree that had fallen on his garage in the Summer of 2012, and had difficulty keeping it running, and wound up using an extra chainsaw someone else had brought. I recently gave it to my father in law, who is quite good at repairing outdoor power equipment. He buys them used at auction, fixes them and sells them on Craigslist. He threw it away.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just as good as my last two Poulans Having had a Poulan 3400 countervibe in the past, I purchased a used Poulan 2300 to clear a small hillside. After two years the 2300 is acting up after loaning it out. I bought Poulan Pro 20" 50cc today and wish my old saw had quit two years ago. After filling the gas and oil, it started right up and cut up a 16" pine in ten minutes flat. This saw is as powerful as a Stihl I used recently. I have had no quality problems out of Poulan and no I don't own Poulan stock.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Chainsaw I've researched a lot of chainsaws and read as much comments before buying - this one is by far the best. The performance - first chainsaw I ever owned. Read the manual for a day and started it a week later because it had to be shipped by cargo. It started right up according to manual. Uses same gas as my weedwacker; 40:1 mix. Awesome torque, fast cutting and smooth action. The style - less bulky than most of its size category, lightweight, nice design and color, maintenance parts are easily accessible. Comes with hard-impact case with chain/bar scabbard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best chainsaw hands down for under $200.00 So I bought this Poulan Pro 50cc 20" with some reservations thinking it wouldn't have the power for the 20" bar........well my reservations were short lived after just a few cuts with it. This chainsaw has plenty of power with room to spare. Also all I had to do was fill up with gas and bar/chain oil and I was in business within 5 min after taking it out the box. Follow the directions and it will crank right up. Why spend twice the money on brand H for a saw that can do the same thing.
