Rated 5 out of 5 by from No jams I've been through half a box (about 600 staples) and have not had a single jam. This was done while attacking 6 mil poly to pressure treated wood. Works for me!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good tool box item I've used the same one for years, (since '04 I believe). Very durable as I slung it nearly half a block after smashing my finger worse than it's ever been smashed with this thing and eventually retrieved it unscathed. On the bright side, it was out of staples. On the down side, it has a low staple capacity. Still a good item to have around.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I use this product for everything The only down side from this product is that it only holds 1.5 clips of Staples and some models hold 2 full clips.the main reason I choose it is because the "head" is bigger allowing it to hang in a hammer loop on my tool belt while other.."nicer" more expensive models are thin and fall right thru.the staple capacity is an issue tho.in the mill I use this and it doesn't matter because I put the half clip on the work bench.but in the field I have to keep the half clips separate which is a pain in the but.i still love it tho.i have FOUR of them in my Jeep right now. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Hammer Tacker This Hammer tacker (the HT50), is one of the best ones I've seen or used. My dad has used his for years, and multiple coworkers in construction use it. About 2-3 weeks ago I bought my first hammer tacker. For something compact that I can stick in my back pocket, I chose the HT55 slim hammer tacker, but alas, after only about 2.5 weeks of occasional moderate use, the hinge-pin sheared off and the entire staple carriage fell out. Thankfully, I was able to bring it back to Home depot and get it replaced with the HT50. Super excited for my new purchase! (Promo code 1117) [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Roofing use Over all a decent product and easy to load, but handle design could use some help so you don't smack your knuckles every so often, and a smoother or rounded edge on striking surface would be easier on light weight materials like masking paper, 15 weight felt paper, etc

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Difficult to Aim It may sound silly, but the tip of this stapler is over an inch wide, but you're shooting a staple that is less than half the width. As a result, if you are stapling something like chicken wire, it is extremely easy to miss the target--particularly if you have to swing hard to try to sink the staple into a tough material like treated wood. I thought of painting a line on the center of the tip, but I was close to finished on my project so I did not.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from must not be to important i gave my honest oppinion about product, hopeing for a response on how to fix the problem of mine breaking. i put negative & possitive in my review. now you say you cant put my reveiw in because it didnt follow guidelines. ok fine but thats all you said back. im thinking if a customer was important like you say then you would try to resolve my issues with hammer tacker "slap stapler". again the mechanical part on the front that sends the staple out always breaks on mine. a new one or part to fix would be great! but it seems due to me putting the problem in my review, you just threw my problem to the wayside.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Another great arrow product I have 2 hand staplers from arrow, haven't gone wrong with those. Needed a hammer tacker to make some if my work easier, I haul wood products on a flatbed. I could have bought the cheap no name products, but their reviews complained about jams. I've had very few jams with my other arrow products, so I figured for the price I couldn't go wrong. Haven't used this much yet but no jams so far. Easy load, good staple capacity. Little heavy but not bad(and no heavier than its competitors). I like this slightly shorter handle size, better for what I'm doing [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
