Lithium-ion Batteries Compact XR - 20 Volt - 2/Pack is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 38.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dewalt 20-Volt Batteries in a 2 pack. I used many tools during my life and always another brand until I used my first Dewalt tool. I love the 1/4 inch impact and own 4 - 18 volt impacts , drills, flashlight and now own a 20 volt impact, drill and 4 new batteries. They are one of the best tools that I have ever used in remodeling or building in my wood shop. My collection of the Dewalt tools are growing and still hope I will be around to enjoy them. I purchased a 12 volt impact and really use this tool doing electrical and driving screws. It is a number one tool in my book and really enjoy using it. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great batteries I've been using the 2ah batteries daily for about 3 years. I find that they last for many days of work in an impact gun and not long on a grinder. I use the appropriate battery size for the tool and job. I get great results from these little guys. They are so much lighter, last much longer, charge faster, and don't need to be replaced as often as the 18v I used before. The old 18s lasted 2 years maybe 3 before getting canned. The 18s would be tired after just 18 months. I can't tell the difference between my oldest 20v battery and the one I just bought. I've had numerous tool drops, some from ladder height and some from table height, and the tools and batteries just keep going

Rated 2 out of 5 by from What happened to battery life? I have had these 20 volt batteries for just over a month and use the 18volt adapter that came with them. The life of the batteries is very short. Even shorter if you leave them hooked up to the adapter on the screw gun. Considering changing from DeWalt to another brand. I have had Dewalt products for more than 20 years. Everything I have is 18 V so I thought I would upgrade and convert to 20 V batteries because the 18 V batteries do not seem to last as long as they used to. But I’m thinking I will go to another brand altogether and give up on the yellow and black.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Batteries dont hold charge No battery life and one of them over heated and melted my good hammer drill through the adapter. This is unacceptable as a contractor who has used Dewalt tools for over 20 years. First they change the batteries so we have to buy all new cordless tools and then the batteries don't work. 4 batteries in just under 6 months. none of them work. So I now have a collection of brand new cordless tools with no power to run them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light Weight, Work Great Bought a set to augment a set of 1.5ah that came with my dw885. I prefer light weight over power duration when I'm driving screws during building, and the 2ah give me both. Having four batteries allows me to just keep swapping, usually getting me through a day of deck building without recharging. I'd suggest checking the date codes on batteries purchased online. My 1.5s are dated 2014 and work fine after four years of frequent use, with a slight dip in duration. I know others who have bought tools online and their batteries have been several years old and had shorter duration.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Same Here! 20V Max XR 2.0 give me about 10 mins I was excited to upgrade BUT! Batteries won't charge to 3 bars on batt meter and only last 10 min or so...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Low quality I bought a tool set that came with two batteries. One of the batteries works well enough for about 10 minutes. The other completely burned out within a month of having it. It won't even charge now. To say that I am disappointed with my purchase does not even begin to express my feelings.
