Cordless Pin Nailer - 23-Gauge - 18 V Lithium-Ion

The Metabo HPT(TM) 18 V Cordless pin nailer fires 23-gauge headless pins which produce near invisible holes. The slim nose design allows nailing into the grooves of any trim. The quick clear nose with tooled jam release permits easy maintenance and reduced downtime. The high-luminance LED light is handy when working in low-light areas. The absence of cumbersome air hose and compressor saves time in setup, during applications and in jobsite cleanups. Lightweight at only 4.4 lb and well balanced for easy manoeuvrability. The set includes a charger, safety glasses and soft carrying case. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great addition to my nailers I already own the cordless 15g and 18g nailers from Hitachi. Which are absolutely phenomenal finish nailers. Never had any issues with them. So when I saw they finally made a cordless pin nailer, it was a no brainer I was going to buy it. Right out of the box I was using it to install crown moulding on a built in unit. The first ten shots I had to clear 4 jammed nails. Not a good start. So I took a scrap piece of pine, adjusted the nailer settings a little bit and ran probably two dozen nails into it without an issues. After a rocky start, this nailer ended up working very well and seems to be pretty reliable. Hitachi has another winner with this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Tool Hit the ground running with this tool. Needed to repair a few drawers on my 93 yr. old Mom’s dresser. Was very pleased with the outcome. 23 gauge pins are almost invisible to the eye. Nailer is well built and easy to handle. Charging was simple. No need to drag out my compressor and hoses any longer. I’ve used DeWalt battery powered tools for years but I’m very impressed by this Hitachi nailer. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Tool ! I am thoroughly impressed with ease and capability of this tool. It is light weight and the directions were easy to follow as to function and use. I am not a finish carpenter but am an accomplished basket maker. This is the first tool that has successfully secured my oak rims without damaging the reed or the overall integrity of the finished basket. While this will surely not be the main use for this nailer, it surely speaks to its versatility and I am thrilled to own it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from love it, love it, love it Did I say I love it? I have a nailer that I have to use with an air compressor. Using this nailer was great. No bringing out the heavy compressor to the room I need. No untangling the long hose attached to the compressor. I have to ask where has this tool been all my life. The nails went in perfectly. long battery life. I highly recommend it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Leaves two holes per shot, jams alot! I was using this nail gun to nail cabinet veneer sheeting works good, but when I tried nailing into the cabinet fillers which are maple, the Nailer shots a nail, but there is a nail hole and a large dimple beside it, per every shot, this was with 1-1/4 nails, not really acceptable for fine finishing, I didnt even use half a 1-1/4 nail clip, and the Nailer jammed 5-6 times, takes quite a bit of time to clear the jams, as it is not tooless, You need a hex key

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works for a non-professional From a non-professional perspective, this worked fine. It is a bit heavy for me, but my boyfriend had no issues. It takes some getting used to, but once you get a groove going, you can move along at a decent pace. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Avoid Poter Cable Pins Nailer repeatedly jammed after one or two shots with the PC pins. Was going to return the mailer to Lowe’s, but decided to try different brand of pins. Nailer worked OK with Hatachi pins and another brand of assorted sizes I ordered online. Nailer is not an exceptional tool, but I would give it 4 stars when used with good quality pins. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressive ! Strong in a small package. Allowed me to get into tighter spaces to make a secure area. I recommend this to the novice to the professional. It’s built to last. Padded handle makes it easier to hold on too. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
