Rated 5 out of 5 by from Only used it once so far... but I like it! Seems like the perfect grill. I did a lot of research before buying it..... and have always been a "charcoal" guy. ALL the research has told me that propane vs. charcoal doesn't really affect the flavor that much. I cooked burgers so far and they were excellent. I like the fact that it's small and I can take it camping or tailgating, don't have to mess with messy charcoal and charcoal lighter. Recently found out that I can even refill the one pound propane tanks using a special nozzle hooked to one of those big 20 lb. tanks which will be a huge money saver. So far, so good. I would recommend it to a friend. Kind of pricey but I think it will be a good investment over the long haul.....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This little marvel is my new "Go To Grill" Bought a Q1200 last year in Mesa. Have had a series of grills over the years that have performed OK. Each had drawbacks and it seemed like grilling on these grills was one compromise after another. I think I've died and gone to grilling heaven since I got this wonderful grill. We bought it specifically to keep on our RV while traveling. But it is so fundamentally excellent it comes home with us and has replaced our Big Grill for everyday grilling. We grill about 200 days per year at least. What a workhorse. Love it. Just the right size for two or four folks. Great job Weber! You continue to exceed our expectations.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Made to last! I can cook on a variety of grills and get good results. What I liked about the Weber is the heavy construction and the fact it came with a built in thermometer that makes it easier to get great results every time. This grill is worth a repair if something wears out. Love the grill. I do wish they didn’t coat the cooking grates with porcelain. Food sticks to that surface badly. Stainless or straight cast iron would make this grill even better. Still it’s worth the money for a grill that could easily last 20 years. Even following strict guidelines on how to cook on porcelain doesn’t keep food from sticking. The grates are why it doesn’t get 5 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Compact Gas Grill I own a spirit Weber for many years and it cooks wonderfully, but i needed a compact grill at my new house. I had a coleman portable grill but it does not perform near this beauty. My food cooks evenly and has beatiful char lines. It is practical with side tables and easier to clean, like the big grills it has a drip pan at the bottom. To complete the package I ended up with a fucsia color, but it is ok, i am girlie. I also purchased the griddle and i love to cook veggies on it. They come out crispy and taste amazing. You must get one, perfect for 2-6 people if cooking burgers and you can fit probably 12 Hot dogs or sausages.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Weber is top of the line I owned the same full sized Weber LP Grill for 25+ years. It performed perfectly and Weber was always there for parts and support as needed. When I sold my house it went to the new owner. Now that I live full time in an RV it was time to downsize the grill. Based on how happy I was with the previous grill there was only one brand I wanted. The Q1200 is another example of quality and attention to detail. It has a lower BTU rating then I expected, but any concerns I had were quickly dispelled upon first use. This grill is used several times a week for two people and is exactly as advertized.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect grill for me! I've been using my Weber Q 1200 several times a week since I got it. It has been the best purchase ever for my grilling needs. I was hesitant to buy the grill at first because of the relatively small burner output (7500 btu) and the fact it is very small compared to the grills I have used in the past. I now consider those features to be big plusses! It sips propane, while providing lots of heat to get great char marks on steaks and chops. I can grill plenty of food for my wife and I with room left over for a guest if needed. I also like the small size as it makes it easy to pack up and take along for camping in my travel trailer. I only regret not buying this grill sooner!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Grill Hey I'm a dude that loves to cook with fire. I've been grilling for a long time. I wanted a little grill that would be a quicker alternative to my trusty Smokey Joe. The Q1200 is fantastic! Most little grills are a great novelty but really they ain't all that great. The Q1200 is the real deal. During the short time I've owned it, I've grilled burgers, steaks, and BBQ chicken. Here's my opinion...It's small but cooks plenty of food. Enough to feed around 6 easy depending on what you're cooking. The reason I point out the size is because it's small and it heats quick and it cooks quick so you have to keep an eye on it while you are cooking. I love this grill, so if you're thinking about pulling the trigger...just do it. It cost a little more but you won't regret it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turtle Green Grill I bought a 'turtle green' Q1200 this summer to replace a Q1000 I have been using since 2005-it was time for the little Q1000 to retire like me! Our new Q1200 is working flawlessly so far. The new Q1200 has several improvements over our retired, senior Q1000: it has the handy folding shelves on each side and the electronic igniter works easily and quickly to start the grill. The small, compact size is just perfect for the wife and I for our frequent grilling efforts. Plus, both my wife and I love the looks of our little green turtle looking grill. If our new Q1200 lasts as long as our previous Weber, then we will be very, very happy.
