Pressure Washer - GX270 - 4000 PSI - Steel - Silver is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 23.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does the Job! This pressure washer is called Pro for a reason. The Honda engine is commercial grade and starts first pull every time. The GCV Honda engine is a decent engine but does not compare to the GX series engine that is on this washer. Advisable to use supreme grade gas with a stabilizer additive to make sure dirty gas doesn't undermine performance or muck up the washer fuel system. The pump can run hot if you use the washer on max pressure for an extended period but it doesn't seem to affect performance. The frame is robust and is powder coated for corrosion protection. Hose and wand also stand up well to daily use. Would recommend this washer without hesitation! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Couldn’t ask for anything better So far good as gold. Starts very easy. Has a lot of power. Not real loud. Came with 50 ft. Hose. Unit rolls very easily. I have 50 to 60 hrs on mine and it still looks and runs like it did when new. Never start unit dry, always check oil in pump and engine and, never let it sit and run while not using it and you should get years of good service from this unit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pro Quality Machine Easy assembly. Seems to be very well built. Started on first pull and ran with zero issues for 5 hours on first use. Surprisingly light enough that I can lift and load into a 4 Runner solo, and I’m a small guy. Got a great deal at Lowe’s due to an earlier mix up; glad I didn’t get the smaller machine. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Powerful Pressure Washer This is my third pressure washer - my first two were axial cam residential units. I was looking for more power and this works perfect!! It makes my aggregate concrete look super nice. I spent several months researching pressure washers and decided on this Lowe’s exclusive GX270 washer. It starts first pull every time and runs smooth. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Simpson ps60918 gas power washer Purchased from Lowe’s for personal use. Easy start up and operation. Engine and pump are foreign made. Need to change pump oil with Simpson pump oil every 100 hours of operation. Honda engine performance is good. Would recommend shooter nozzle for applying chemicals and rinsing second story house. Nozzles provided are sufficient for single story house. Power washer is doing well with 20hrs. of operation. Please read the do’s and don’ts before operation. Rated 5 out of 5 by from I bought two of these units for my pressure washing business, and both of the units are working as well as I expected from a Simpson product. I also like that these pressure washers have Honda engines too!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nothing but problems straight out of the box I bought the Simpson PS60918 pressure washer because my home siding was a mess. Right out of the box, I had problems with it. After adding the engine oil, I connected it to the water supply and primed the pump, before starting it. The engine puffed blue smoke after about one minute and then the water pump made a loud racket, like it was full of ball bearings. I shut it down ASAP and checked the pump and engine oils and both were ok. The water hose was also feeding it sufficiently, so the pump hadn’t run dry. After double checking everything, I squeezed the wand trigger to bleed off any air, then I removed the spray tip, so the water would flush out quicker. The water then started running a bright orange color with gobs of rusty sludge, so obviously there was an existing internal corrosion issue. I’m returning it to the store today.
