Sliding Mitre Saw - Cordless - 20V MAX is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 47.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Saw!! This saw I have had about 6 months now and I'm very impressed not only by the quality but by how many cuts I get on 1 charge. I have several of the 20v tools so I have 7 batteries but this saw with the 4.0 ah battery I literally can make cuts on 200 5/4 pressure treated deck boards or more. I have an 8 1/2" hitachi slider that's great but with this saw I'm not tripping over cords or limited to 100 ft from an outlet, which also makes clean up that much faster too. The standard 1.5ah black battery that comes with a lot of the drills Etc still lasts a very long time...... 75-80 cuts depending on what I'm cutting, pine 3/4 boards I might get closer to 100. It does not lack for power and because it's a 7 1/4" blade replacements are everywhere and 1/2 the cost of a decent 10" blade.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quiet and clean cuts I expected much less, but this has proven to be a pretty powerful tool. I'm very satisfied with the clean-cut it makes. The motor does not bog down when cutting a 2x4's and that's what I need. The slide bearings make a nice smooth push over a 1x6. The angle preset detents are accurate and you don't have to continually check it. Nice small compact design for easy setup and storage. The large body xr 6 amp batteries fit. I would buy it again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Trim Saw Ever As with all new tools on the market I am skeptical till proven a tool is worth buying,in this case bought because of need. Normally stock blades from Dewalt are pure junk, not in this case! I bought a 6.0 amp battery twin pack for running this saw. Power and accuracy is A+++++++++. I do remodeling and this is my go to saw for small jobs! Even for the average weekend handy person I recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Phenomenal New DeWalt Saw, Best I've Used I was blown away when I used this saw for the first time. It uses all my 7-1/4" blades and now I don't have to carry around my corded miter anymore. The cut is clean, the saw is lightweight, and the XPS light system makes the cleanest cuts I've ever made. I am already a big DeWalt fan and now I have this to add to the 20v products I already own by them. Thank you DeWalt!!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extremely Happy With This Saw! I have several Dewalt cordless tools but was a little skeptical on purchasing a mitre saw as I wasn't sure it would be powerful enough. No issues there. It's no different than the corded Craftsman saw I've had for years. I cannot believe how much I love using a miter saw and not having to worry about a cord. I make furniture and do a lot of DIY stuff around the home. This is perfect for me. It's rugged and easy to carry around since it's so light weight. I have never liked a lazer but the shadow line feature is superb. You will not be disappointing if you buy this saw.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Miters Inaccurate What I like about this tool is it's lightweight and cordless feature, the battery run time and portability, however, the 45 deg miter cuts I made on several straight boards were off - so if you were to make a picture frame with 45s your cuts will be off a few degrees leaving a gap when you assemble the frame. I checked this miter with my DeWalt 12" slide saw and these saw cuts were accurate. Maybe this 20V saw is only good for rough framing but it's dissapointing for fine work

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good - But ... Could Be Better !!! To Dewalt: There are many reviews out there on this saw from big box stores as well as YouTube. There are several reoccurring comments/request from vested Dewalt consumers asking the following to be integrated into this saw : #1) Brushless Motor #2) Double bevel feature #3) Depth Stop.(For Dado's, Half Laps, etc) My comment in addition is the Shadow Light is really just not bright enough for daylight use -maybe add a double tap or mash and hold feature that would produce enough bright light to be seen in daylight as some people would sacrifice some battery life to have a functional light outdoors. *Also important to mention - Not everyone purchasing this saw would be using it as a companion to a larger saw .The large cut capacity of this saw will likely perform 90 percent of what crafters, homeowners, flooring installers and remodelers would need in a miter saw. To sum it up, this is a well built, rugged, suprisingly powerful and accurate little saw that has the cut capacity to satisfy a large arena . I agree with the reviews and out there - Dewalt should give this saw the same respect and functionality as the larger saws !

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product! Portable! This is a great little miter saw! Great for doing trim. I've also used it for framing cutting 2x4's and it lacks a little power for that . . . although it still works as long as you don't try to go through the 2x4 too fast.
