Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ahhmmaaazzing! This little tool cabinet is the sturdiest, most functional and is beautifully made! Got it, along w/the base cabinet, for my husband for Christmas. The USB and charging station brings this cabinet to a while new level. Plus, the soft close doors are perfectly aligned and so quiet. This thing is so sturdy and the wheels are large rubber ones vs the other types! Can’t improve on this one! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 2 out of 5 by from 2 Stars but still recommend, here's why... I bought the base for this chest several months ago not intending to get the chest. I have come to love the base after initial problems (had to replace original casters as the swivel casters wouldn't swivel). However, Craftsman replaced the casters and the base has been great. The reason I wasn't anticipating getting the chest is that I wanted some work space but I found the top drawer/worktable sturdy enough for resting tools on and putting a speaker on so I sprung for the chest to compliment the base and add storage. Pros: -Roomy top compartment for charging batteries or storing power tools -8 drawers for hand tools is very nice. Most other chests have 6 -Power strip with USB ports -Nice look Cons: -No handles???? -Quality control issues -Peg board on the outside would be nice -Visible rivets in black paint make chest looks like it has dents all over it in certain light So the big issue with this chest is that it has no side handles. I have no idea why Craftsman chose not to include handles. Seems like a very basic feature. While I'm not lugging this chest from site to site, the handles are nice for when I want to relocate the chest or just take it off the base. It's a two-person job either way but it took my wife and I about 20 minutes to figure out how to place the empty chest on the base without dinging and scratching it up (she's only 5'3"). There's simply nowhere to grip it. To make matters worse, once I got the chest on the base I noticed that the lower left drawer wasn't aligned on it's rails properly which caused a gap to be present when it was fully closed. That won't work for me for two reasons: 1) These chests cost good money and I simply won't settle for wonky craftsmanship and 2) I do a lot of sawing in my garage and even with ventilation dust gets everywhere. I don't want dust in one of my drawers. Also, the top lid isn't properly aligned on both sides so it looks really uneven when closed. This issue is more cosmetic than anything but again, shows poor quality control. So it's going back to Lowes to be exchanged. It's just going to be a pain to exchange it. One other issue that might be overly picky is that I can't find a great use for the interior peg board. It's just too shallow to use a peg board for any kind of helpful storage. I like where Craftsman was going with the idea but it would have been much handier to have it on the outside, perhaps on the sides where the handles would otherwise be (at least that would provide a rationale for leaving off the handles). Then you could hang tools and such on the outside for easy access during projects. It's not even like this is a revolutionary idea since the matching base has pegboard on the sides to serve that exact purpose. That being said, I really like the number of drawers and the overall configuration. It's numerous shallow drawers compliments the deep drawers of the base very well for a perfect balance of storage applications. And it looks great. It get's two stars because I shouldn't have to exchange this thing and hope for the best with the next one. If the next one has the same issues I will simply stick with the base and forego the chest altogether. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Craftsman’s toolbox Needed a new tool box for all my stuff so I talked myself into this combo and I couldn’t be happier. It glides around very easily. Every drawer has plenty of room. The dual outlets are amazing. I couldn’t have made a better for for what I needed. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Craftsman Tool Box This box will stand the test of the elements as well as store more tools than my other 2 boxes combined. It's made in America and will be a hand down generational tool box for my son when I am gone. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
