XR Impact Driver - Cordless - 1/4" - 20V is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 41.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lots of Power! This impact driver is great! It has enough power to drive big lags and deck screws with ease. It also worked great when I had to remove rusty deck screws, though some were so old they snapped off. I was also able to use it to drill through metal with ease. This impact driver also worked great to remove smaller hex bolts from a trailer when using impact sockets, it saved me a ton of time over using a traditional wrench. Battery life on the standard 1.5 AH batteries is phenomenal. Get this impact diver, you won't be disappointed!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lots of torque! Last year I received the 20 volt drill/driver with charger and 2 batteries for a present. This year I asked for the 20 volt impact driver,(bare tool). I am thrilled with the impact driver performance. I can easily drive 3 1/2" screws into 6x6 posts without hesitation. I like the weight and balance of this impact driver and the lights do help in low light situations. I had been using a 12 volt impact driver,(it was adequate..) but the Dewalt is in an entirely different league. thank you for a great tool!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Tool Excellent tool, love the fact that I can change speeds, LED is nice and bright. Battery life is great and punches through anything I throw at it. The only thing I don't like is the brushless tools seem to have a "soggy" Forward/Reverse switch. I'm guessing this is because of the different components, its not a problem, just not as tactile.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dewalt brushless impact tool with mode sector 1 Dewalt DCF887B with mode sector #1 for impact screw driving applications. The impact function makes this tool particularly useful for driving fasteners in wood, metal and concrete. With the brushless motor, has 152 ft/lbs more than enough to do most jobs. 1/4" hex one handed quick release is great and will hold 1 inch bits with out falling out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic tool I have had this for about a year or two now. I have put it through h*ll and back litteraly it has been used for just just about every use I can think of from driving in 6” lags to hundreds of thousands of screws installing decking. It is one of the best impact drivers I have ever owned runs and performs better than my makita and Milwaukee. Battery life is amazing and I have no complaints. Rated 4 out of 5 by from chuck wobbles i just purchased this product and after reviewing customer complaints , i knew i was going to have a problem . THE CHUCK WOBBLES . you would think after making a great product like this they would of figured out how to make the chuck with no wobble at all would be great but they still cant seem to figure out how to fix this issue . i have sent dewalt my comments and they tell me to send it in to have it repaired . this does not make sense to me . if they could fix it why wouldnt they make this product without a wobble to begin with .i paid for a NEW product not one that already needs repaired right out of the box . i have had the same issue with the dcd996p2 which i had to send back 6 times before i received one that had less wobble than the others but yes still wobbles in the chuck . so in conclusion if you are going to purchase the dcf887b be prepared for a wobbly chuck

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Compact and powerful I run two of these in my kit. I was so impressed with the first one I picked up another. The big selling feature with the 887 impact driver is the small size. Great for tight spots, but still sports a punch. I was surprised at the ability of this unit to drive in 3" long 1/4 tapcons into harden concrete with no issues. Yet in a pinch drive in drywall screws because I forgot my driver.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome tool Bought one a year ago and it made my day a lot easier. It would drive most any screws or lag bolts with ease. Last week it gave up on me and I wasn't a bit mad at it because it did it's job well for that year and three weeks. Today I received my second one and will see if this one gives me atleast one years service, hopefully more.
